As far as I can remember I always liked working with children and teenagers. I admire their spontaneity, their creativity and their resilience. I personally started to play the piano at the age of 4.... and never stopped so music has always been a huge part of my life. I first studied classical music in College. I then finished a bachelor degree in Orthopedagogy followed by a graduate certificate in Music Therapy at Concordia University in Montreal. That is where I became an Accredited Music Therapist (M.T.A). Although these two fields aren't always compatible they can be powerful allies when used properly.

Since 2004, I've taught everything from Kindergarden to Secondary school to a very diverse clientele. I've conducted many music workshops for children as well as group and individual music therapy sessions. I usually use my own methods of teaching which is based on mental management and problem solving approaches. I strongly believe in that every individuals have an important intellectual potential and limitations, unfortunately some combinations of potential/limitations are more easily accepted by our society. This can lead to a lot of frustration for some of us but I believe there is other paths to success. Everyone is different, has different tastes and abilities. All of these abilities deserve to be encouraged and nurtured to unlock their full potential.
